Yanks Wank More They Think (and More than the French)

Let’s unbox the intimate world of sex toys, and how they’ve become a significant part of our lives, especially since the pandemic.

In 1992, a mere 7% of French women owned a sex toy. Fast forward to the present day, and that number has soared to 52%. Quite a cultural shift, wouldn’t you agree?

But take a moment to compare this with our friends across the Atlantic. In the United States, 82% of women own a sex toy. 

Now, why is this significant? 

Well, studies show that sex toy owners are 20% more likely to report happiness in their relationship and 16% more sexually satisfied. Could this be a secret ingredient to a happier relationship?

Good news! But not everyone thinks so.  73% of Americans say that Sex Toys are a still a taboo topic.  This aligns with the more sexually conservative nature cultural discourse.   88% of Americans admit masturbation, but they guess that the proportion of Yanks who Wank is about 10 percentage points lower than it actually is.  Basically, Amercians think that they self-pleasure than the French (at 80%) but they do it more.  

Either way sexual wellbeing is a universal concern, transcending cultural boundaries.
